Released. Released from the struggles that hold us down. Released to be the men that God has called us to be. That's God's desire for us as men of Crossroads church. That's what this retreat is all about.

Release is what Hebrews 12:1 (NLT) means when it says: "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.

We are piveledged to have Steve Anderson as our speaker for Crossroad's first Men's Retreat. Steve has served as a chaplain for Prison Outreach of Delaware for three years. He is uniquely gifted for this ministry as God rescued him from a ten year addiction in which he was incarcerated four times. Steve understands what it means to have "weights that slow us down." And he understands what it means to be Released! He will share his experiences with us.
