Love INC
Love In the Name of Christ (Love INC) brings Christian churches together, across denominational lines, to help the poor by meeting immediate needs such as food and clothing, to longer-term responses through relational ministries such as life skills training and transitional housing. Over 140 Love INC affiliates in 30 states are helping over 1 million people in need each year through more than 9,000 churches, 6,000 community agencies, and 300,000 volunteers. Through Love INC, caring Christians are providing help, hope, and God’s love to neighbors in need.

A disabled woman who lives in Wilmington needs assistance with removal of a bee or wasp nest that is under her front porch. She indicated that she is unable to get out or receive visitors because of them. click here to help!

A couple in their sixties is looking for moving assistance. He is disabled and his wife is in a wheel chair. They currently live in Newark and plan on moving to a place in Newark. click here to help!
Love INC needs a volunteer that is willing to head up our Youth oriented "Sound Off For Poverty" program this year.
This is a program to educate our young people about poverty in America, and empower them to do something about it by raising funds and awareness to help people in need. Youth groups can conduct a "Media Fast" abstaining from electronic entertainment for at least three days or up to one week, young people tune out life's distractions and tune in to God's heart for the poor. We need a volunteer to help get the information out to the churches in New Castle County and to do some follow up with those interested. Click here to volunteer!
Love INC still is in need of donated furniture and household items in good condition. We have many requests for help with furniture, appliances, and household items. Love INC gets numerous calls for new baby items from single moms. If you have baby items, furniture, clothes for baby, please give us a call to coordinate the donation.
